Clinical Educator - CT -
This is an awesome opportunity! You will be responsible for developing on-going processes to in service staff on new/revised clinical policies and procedures, new supplies/ equipment, and new processes that impact the delivery of patient care. The Clinical Educator collaborates, consults and partners with other units, departments, and throughout the organization in meeting identified educational needs and requirements including regional development to ensure that annual clinical validations are appropriate and staff competencies are maintained. Conducts and completes regular learning-needs assessments and uses the analyzed data to develop educational programs and instructional modules for the assigned unit staff. You will also participate in the hospital Patient/Family Education Program. Function as a key resource to the staff, patients and family related to the hospital Patient/Family Education Program. Graduate of accredited nursing program. BSN required. Master's degree in nursing/education with CNS emphasis preferred. Functions as a key resource in promoting and supporting staff with professional practice and development. BLS-C required. Specialty licensure/certification may be required, as specified by department. PALS certification within 6 months from hire. BLS, PALS Instructor highly preferred.
