Welcome to the Bridgport Chamber of Commerce!

Bridgeport, the largest city in Connecticut, is ready to transform itself into one of the most exciting cities in the state. Bridgeport has much to offer its residents and visitors alike with the focus on creating a better quality of life for all. Continuing to play an integral part of the renovation, is the Bridgeport Chamber of Commerce.
As a member of the Bridgeport Chamber of Commerce, you can be an active participant in this transformation. The Bridgeport Chamber will contribute to the economic health of Bridgeport by providing:

1. Support to facilitate business attraction and retention.
2. Advocacy – serving as the eyes and ears on city and state legislative issues looking out for the interests of Bridgeport business, and
3. numerous Networking opportunities.
Much has been accomplished over the past few years; and we can all be proud of:
* Thriving solid relationships with City Council Representatives
* Partnerships of residents, businesses, and local and state representatives that collaborate to resolve Quality of Education issues
* Neighborhood Revitalization Zones throughout the City are coming to fruition; some ready for incorporation into the first cohesive Master Plan in 10 years
* Various corridors of the four corners of Bridgeport are being transformed into welcoming entrances offering an array of ethnically diverse venues
* Restaurants win regional awards and we celebrate their successes
* New art galleries proudly showcase the work of local artists and artisans
* The state-of-the-art Inter-modal is underway and will become Bridgeport Connecticut’s central transportation-hub
* Two colleges are at full capacity with plans to expand
* Waterfront landscape is being re-designed to maximize its potential use
* Blighted properties will be made part of the City’s Master Plan and designated for affordable housing and small business uses
As an affiliate of the Bridgeport Regional Business Council, the Bridgeport’s Chamber of Commerce Mission Statement is “to achieve growth and prosperity for business in Bridgeport. Together we work as a resource with members promoting, assisting, and advocating for good business.”
The Bridgeport Chamber welcomes all businesses, large and small, to join us and become stakeholders in the City of Bridgeport’s economic revitalization and return Bridgeport to its rightful place as a vibrant, attractive, and thriving City.
